The 2007 Think Tank on Women Entrepreneurs is actively pursuing implementation of the recommendations of the 2006 Think Tank Recommendations

In addition to implementation planning, the 2007 Think Tank on Women Entrepreneurs is planning Fall 2007 conferences for women entrepreneurs in SC.

Think Tank on Increasing the Number of Women in policy level decision roles in SC

The 2007 Think Tank on Women in Policy Level Decision Roles is planning the 2007 conference, A Seat at the Table. In addition to conference planning, the Think Tank is developing lists of women who may be interested in board appointment or ready to develop a plan to run for office. It is planning a research survey of women in SC to understand the readiness of South Carolina women leaders to support women in policy decision roles. And it is developing strategies to increase the number of women in policy roles within state government.

Think Tank on Domestic Violence

The 2007 Think Tank on Domestic Violence is working to support the legislative initiatives of the South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault and planning a conference on domestic violence for 2008.

Think Tank on Issues Facing Older Women

The 2007 Think Tank on Issues Facing Older Women is a new Think Tank and will be studying best practices in other states to identify strategies that will improve the status of older women.
